Man dies after Vinalhaven crash
A Vinalhaven man died Wednesday after crashing his truck in the island community.
Randall Farnham, 67, was driving a 1999 Dodge 2500 on Pequot Road about 12:09 p.m. when he may have suffered a “medical event,” lost control of the pickup truck and struck a tree, according to the PenBay Pilot.
First-responders attempted to revive Farnham while they waited for a LifeFlight helicopter, but he succumbed to his injuries, the Pilot reported.
Farnham was alone in the truck at the time of the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
