Police say victim of August 22’s fiery crash suffered non-life threatening injuries
BANGOR- State police have identified the person involved in the single vehicle crash on the Stillwater Avenue off ramp of I-95 in Bangor.
At approximately 6:45 p.m. on August 22, state police say 39-year-old Kelly Macomber of Levant was alone in her vehicle when she had driven off the road and crashed into trees, totaling her car.
“They found out that an occupant was trapped inside and that vehicle was on fire and when they arrived on scene, units learned that the driver of the vehicle had been pulled out by bystanders,” Maine State Police Social Media Coordinator Katy England said.
England said she sustained non-life threatening injuries, was stabilized and rushed to Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center and then transferred to Maine Medical Center in Portland.
