At least 1 person injured by lightning strike near Bangor
At least one person has been hurt after lighting strikes in eastern Maine on Sunday.
The National Weather Service reports one or more people suffered injuries from a lightning strike in Newburgh around 3:30 a.m.
Fire officials said a second lightning strike in Carmel hit wet ground next to a person standing outside.
That person reportedly felt a shock, but was not seriously injured.
