CV Fire Chief position to become full time

CARRABASSETT VALLEY – The selectboard approved a change in the fire chief’s position from part-time, 30 hours per week to full-time, 40 hours per week during the board’s meeting Monday, December 12.  Since retiring last year from a 29 year career at Jordan Lumber in Kingfield, Fire Chief Courtney Knapp has spent much of his time at the new mountain station.
