Former Bangor woman pleads guilty to federal drug charges
BANGOR- A former Bangor resident is facing up to 20 years in prison for her role in drug trafficking in 2 counties.
Shelby Loring,27, pleaded guilty today in U. S. District Court in Bangor to conspiracy to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute methamphetamine and fentanyl.
According to court records, Loring and others trafficked methamphetamine and fentanyl in Penobscot and Aroostook Counties between January 2018 and December 2021.
Loring’s participation in the conspiracy resulted in contacts with law enforcement that led to the seizure of drugs, firearms, drug paraphernalia and other items.
She will be sentenced at a later date.
