Vehicle allegedly involved in Piscataquis County hit-and-run crash identified, Sheriff’s Office says
ABBOTT —The Piscataquis County Sheriff’s Office says they have identified the operator of a vehicle that was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run in Piscataquis County Wednesday.
According to a post on their Facebook page, at approximately 4:40 Wednesday afternoon, deputies responded to a report of a hit-and-run accident in Abbott.
They say a vehicle that appears to have been traveling at a high rate of speed went off the road and drove into a home at 6 Main Rd.
The vehicle did extensive damage to the home. Thankfully no one was there at the time of the crash.
The sheriff’s office says the vehicle involved in the crash left the scene.
