Eddington promotes 2 firefighters
EDDINGTON — Town leaders have promoted two within the fire department.
Capt. Craig Russell was promoted to deputy chief and veteran firefighter Lt. Alan Boynton was made a captain, according to the Eddington Fire Department’s Facebook page.
Russell joined the department in 2002 and was hired as the first career firefighter/EMT for the town in March 2011.
Boynton has been with the department since 1986 and he served as chief from 2002 to 2007.
