Falmouth Goodwill evacuated due to donated grenade

FALMOUTH, Maine – The Falmouth Goodwill store was evacuated Wednesday afternoon after someone donated a grenade.

Goodwill officials say the store was evacuated out of an abundance of caution. No injuries were reported, according to officials, and the store has since been reopened.

The Falmouth Police Department is investigating the device and how it ended up at the Goodwill.
