Four men arrested in drug investigation
AUBURN — Auburn police arrested four men as part of an ongoing drug investigation Monday morning.
Officers served a search warrant at 14 Lake Auburn Avenue around 2 a.m.
During the search, officers and detectives seized nearly 14 ounces of meth, more than four ounces of crack cocaine, four ounces of cocaine hydrochloride, and nearly 15 grams of fentanyl.
They also seized a semi-auto pistol with a loaded magazine, a money counting machine, suspected drug proceeds and drug packaging materials.
Police arrested 50-year-old Dwayne McDowell of auburn, 58-year-old Gary Pleau of auburn, 26-year-old Darnel Andre of Rockland, and 19-year-old Jaden Andre, also of Rockland.
Each face drug trafficking charges and are being held at the Androscoggin County Jail.
The investigation remains ongoing.
