Grand jury indicts man involved in police standoff
BELFAST– The Waldo County Grand Jury has indicted a Brooks man accused of creating a police standoff .
According to police, Belfast officers stopped Stephen Larrabee, 48, for a license plate violation on January 9th.

Police say that’s when Larrabee reached for what they thought was a handgun.
Larrabee sped off and began a low speed chase through Waldo County.
Officers were able to stop the vehicle in Plymouth Village on the Moosehead Trail.
