Joe’s Market continues using “takeout window”
BANGOR — Local businesses have had a hard time during the pandemic, but Joe’s Market is continually working toward keeping their customers safe.
They’re doing some renovations, which include a permanent takeout window.
Right now, work is being done inside, so customers can safely come back.
Once that happens they will be required to wear masks and practice social distancing.
“That’s one reason we put the window in. If someone just can’t comply, we’re certainly happy to help them at the window,” owner, Joe Perry, said about people who choose not to wear masks. “We’re just hoping people go along with it and are neighborly.”
Joe says he expects the renovations inside of the store to be done in the next two weeks.
