Kingfield board approves request for community economic development grant
KINGFIELD – The Kingfield select board met on the evening of Tuesday, September 5, due to the Labor Day holiday on Monday. The board held a public hearing and reviewed a request for the 2023 Economic Development Grant from Mountain Village Farm Bed & Breakfast to receive the funds to open a bar and full kitchen. The project will entail renovations to a building on the property. This will provide space for local business, the Orchard Girls Cidery, and the potential for other ventures in the future. The total request is for $60,000, half to fully furnish the bar interior
