Oceanside flips the script on Hermon, wins 38-24
After losing to the Hawks twice last year, the Oceanside Mariners silenced the Hermon crowd on Friday, as they pounded their way to a 38-24 victory.
It was Hermon’s first game on their new turf at Pottle Field.

The Mariners flipped the script on the Hawks and took a page out of their playbook, relying on their ground game to bury the Hawks’ chances.
Led by quarterback Cohen Galley’s four rushing touchdowns, Hermon’s patented running game could not match Oceanside’s offensive output.

A 90-yard Galley touchdown run sealed it with 8:05 to go in the fourth quarter, as Oceanside took a 38-18 lead.
