Photos: Theater at Monmouth revs up for another summer of shows

A summer tradition will return Saturday, when the Theater at Monmouth launches its 54th season at the historic Cumston Hall on Main Street. Professional actors will preform five plays over the next six weeks at the 250-seat opera hall inside the Romanesque Revival building. The shows range from Shakespeare’s gender-bending comedy, “As You Like It,” to Oscar Wilde’s classic, “The Importance of Being Earnest.” On Thursday, the cast of the contemporary musical, “The Story of My Life,” held a dress rehearsal ahead of Saturday’s premiere at 7:30 p.m. To view the full schedule and purchase tickets, visit theateratmonmouth.org.
