South Portland man arrested for allegedly robbing Portland bank
PORTLAND, Maine — A South Portland man has been arrested for allegedly robbing the Norway Savings Bank on Forest Avenue Wednesday.
Pierre Gagnon, 56, was quickly identified and arrested in the Back Cove parking lot off Preble Street Thursday after officials received a number of tips from the public, according to the Portland Police Department.
Gagnon was charged with robbery and brought to Cumberland County Jail.
