Teens accused of setting Fairfield fire
FAIRFIELD — Fire marshals have arrested two teens on arson charges in connection with an Aug. 18 fire on Davis Road.
An investigation determined an early morning car fire was intentionally started, according to a spokeswoman for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
The spokeswoman said when Fairfield firefighters responded to the Davis Road address, they found a car on fire in the driveway.
She said the owner of the home told Fairfield police she had left the car in the garage.
A 14-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl were arrested on burglary and arson charges, according to spokeswoman.
