University of Maine graduates 28 nurses into virtual ceremony
ORONO- There’s some new health care workers that are going to be jumping into the fight against COVID-19.
Saturday the University of Maine’s Nursing Program held their special pinning ceremony virtually to formally graduate 28 of their students.
During the ceremony, the graduating students each had their families friends or other loved ones pin them.
“Our team in the school of nursing rose to the occasion and provided students with unwavering support and attention. To all of you i want to express my most sincere gratitude,” said Kelly Strout, the director of UMaine’s Nursing Program.
