Tacos, raffles, a 50/50, and a night of karaoke. Donations for dinner accepted at the door, all to benefit Carrie – who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer.

Covers basic striking and kicks – plus an amazing workout!
Soap School Beginner Soap Making
Starboard Farm, Machiasport
1 pm – 4 pm
Students will learn the safety and process of soap making and will make their very own soap to take home. Class does use the ingredient lye, so this session is not safe for children.
Register in advance, limited class space available. Cost is $75 dollars. All supplies provided.

Attend a workshop on financing or efficiency improvements, or just stop by the booths to chat with experts and contractors that specialize in these things. Free and open to the public.

Ten-piece vocally driven Watts Hall Band specializes in Blues, Rock, and R&B guaranteed to turn listeners into dancers. Covers from bands like Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Black Crowes, Van Morrison, Linda Ronstadt, The Eagles, Talking Heads and more! Cash bar on site with concessions as well. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Rain date will be set for Saturday, January 21st.

Benefit Lunch for Firefighter Steve Grindle

Soups, stews, chowders and more to benefit Franklin Fire Department’s Assistant Chief, Steve Grindle, who suffered a heart attack on Christmas day.
Augusta Civic Center
Noon – 3 pm
Bridal show featuring the area’s finest wedding professionals. Brides can enjoy a glass of complementary champagne and catered appetizers. Local vendors will be ready to answer questions and book your dates. Tickets between $10 – $20.
Lollipop Races at Saddleback Mountain
Saddleback, Rangeley
1 pm – 2 pm
Weekly fun race down Roya Tiger slope. Open to ages 12 and under. Free to participate. Just look for the signature lollipop signs and race flags. Awards presented at 2:30 pm on the deck at the lodge.
