GoFundMe page set up for 10-year-old boy’s funeral costs

BANGOR — The sister of the 10-year-old Levant boy killed Saturday in Bangor has set up a GoFundMe page to raise funds to pay for his funeral.

Micah Logan Fiddie died after the vehicle he was riding in crashed into a home on Harlow Street.

Bangor police Sgt. Wade Betters said the boy’s father was driving and his mother was in the front seat when, for unknown reasons, the silver minivan went off the road at around 6:50 p.m. and struck the home.

Tiffany Whitney set up the GoFundMe  page

“Holly suffered from some broken bones and Steve is suffering from some bruises and mental and emotional injuries,” she said.

Whitney also posted, “Micah was such a happy boy, always smiling and so kindhearted. He loved being outside, fishing or geocaching with his whole family or playing his video games.”

“We will miss him so much,” she said.
